Sure enough, the latest in an ongoing genocidal assault on Palestinians, has instigated a rise of anti-Jewish sentiment in many of the world's populations. It was clear to me that the Kahane chant of "Never Again" would lead to Again and Again and Again. I am now a permanent resident of China but still very involved in the politics and culture of the USA, my mother country. There is no question that most of the Chinese I know are in favor of a Palestinian state, either in two state or one state form where the rights of all citizens are equal and guaranteed. No matter the official positions of the CCP, they see the carpet bombing of Gaza civilians as wholly disproportionate to the Hamas atrocities of October 7th. Your rationalizing cannot change the fact that the Israeli occupation is fascistic and have constituted crimes against humanity for decades, and violate more international laws and UN resolutions than you can shake a stick at.
